Despite its unassuming exterior, the restaurant earns high praise from diners — including Chinese expats — for staying true to traditional Cantonese and northern Chinese flavors.

The menu spans a wide range of dim sum: pineapple custard buns, shrimp shumai, pork soup dumplings (xiao long bao), and the beloved cordyceps beef, a house specialty that stands apart from typical dim sum offerings. The mapo tofu with pork delivers a properly numbing Sichuan kick, while the honey BBQ pork bao is rich and perfectly glazed. The fried rice is fresh with crisp vegetables.
